Jewelry Care
Over time, sterling silver jewelry can tarnish. To help prevent this, remove jewelry before applying lotion, washing hands, showering, swimming or exercising. Wearing your jewelry often is the best way to prevent tarnish. The natural oils on your skin alongside gentle wear keeps the silver bright and shiny. It also helps to polish your pieces periodically to maintain their luster. This can easily be done in just a few minutes with the polishing cloth I provide. Do not use jewelry cleaning solutions which could potentially damage stones and remove patina I have deliberately applied to your piece.
Natural gemstones can be quite delicate and porous, make sure to avoid using soaps, harsh chemicals or jewelry cleaners as this could discolor the stone. Be sure to also remove jewelry before manual labor, strenuous exercise or similar activities.
When not wearing your jewelry, store it inside a jewelry box or cloth pouch in a cool dry place to prevent oxidation. Mindfully caring for your wearable art will ensure it'll become an heirloom piece to be enjoyed for many generations.
